Little is known about the Nanogenerator, except that it requires nine blueprint fragments, four of which can be obtained by getting the Safe from completing the following difficult tasks:

1. Fragment #1: Complete Hydro Power Plant in 10 days
2. Fragment #2: Complete River Bridge in 10 days
3. Fragment #3: Complete Commercial Port in 10 days
4. Fragment #4: Complete Eiffel Tower in 30 days

Upon receiving Fragment #3, the remaining 8 fragments may be purchased for 480 city credits. It is rumoured that future additions to the game, such as the Underwater Tunnel, may allow access to additional blueprint fragments without purchasing them for city credits.

Nanogenerator blueprints have been spotted in bonus suitcases when purchasing City Credits, specifically #1 (Pack), #3 and #5 (Bag), #7 and #9 (Truck), and #8 (Barge).
